ThrottleShare is a peer-to-peer powersports and outdoor rental marketplace. ThrottleShare does not own the fleet. Independent owners and operators list vehicles, set their rules and pricing, approve requests, and complete bookings through the platform.

What types of powersports vehicles can I rent on ThrottleShare?

ThrottleShare supports jet skis, UTVs, golf carts, motorcycles, dirt bikes, mopeds, kayaks, pontoons, snowmobiles, trailers, and other trip-ready rides as real U.S. owner and operator inventory comes online.

Is it safe to rent powersports vehicles from private owners?

ThrottleShare provides Stripe payment processing, email-registered users, signed waivers, in-platform messaging, pickup and return documentation, and owner approval controls. ThrottleShare is a marketplace platform - not an insurance provider. Owners maintain their own vehicle insurance; renters are responsible for confirming their own coverage.

What does ThrottleShare document during a rental?

The platform records booking details, waiver signatures, payment status, owner approval, messages, security deposit settings, pickup and return photo prompts, and review history where available. Vehicle condition, damage, and coverage questions remain between owner and renter under the rental agreement.

How much does it cost to list my vehicle on ThrottleShare?

Listing your vehicle on ThrottleShare is free. You set the rental rate and keep 100% of that listed rate. ThrottleShare adds a clearly labeled 15% renter-paid service fee on top.
